This is the best route for bike tour to this region without altitude worries. Max. Altitude 2932 meters. The new trail is mostly uphill single stretch nine to twelve kilometers and a diving stern downhill almost same level to what you started with.

The route to 5th camp is total uphill almost 40 Km 2840 meters but manageable. It’s funny though, construction of this highway to Solukhumbu started quite sometimes back and it has reached its allotted destination, yet vehicular movement is scarce along this amazing route which is best for cycling.
