Eternal Peace Flame

Eternal peace flame is located at the southern end of the canal in Lumbini. It is one of the major attractions of the Lumbini garden. It was created in 1986 to celebrate the international year of peace. The flame was bought from the United States of America (USA) to promote peace and harmony among the nations as well as the global community.

    The main attraction of the Eternal flame is that it remains glowing continuously 24 hours a day. From the Eternal World Peace Flame, visitors can enjoy the sightseeing canal tour and tall tree around the canal.

    It takes 45 minutes flight from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to Bhairahawa Airport, and approximately 30 minutes to reach Lumbini. It is easy to walk or rent a bike to get there.
