Myanmar Golden Temple
Myanmar Golden Temple is situated in the East Monastic Zone in Lumbini. It is one of the oldest structures in the complex of the Lumbini Monastic Zone. The temple is built in a Burmese style of architecture decorated with shiny gold and white and topped by the most exciting corncob-shaped tower.

Myanmar Golden Temple in Lumbini is the oldest structure of the city. Built in Burmese style of architecture, the temple is dedicated to Lord Buddha. The impressive corncob-shaped shikhara, styled after the temples of Bagan gives a regal look to the whole structure. There are three prayer halls and a Lokamani Pula Pagoda inside the building.
Entrance Fees
There is no entry fee and restriction to the temple.
The main attraction of the Temple is the diverse design with prayer halls and a Lokamani Pula Pagoda inside the building of the temple. From the Temple, visitors can enjoy the view of the beautiful garden and trees around the temple.
It takes nearly 30 minutes by drive from Bhairahawa Airport to reach Lumbini and then 5-10 minutes by walk to reach the Temple.
